Hiring for Warehouse Workers in Dayton, NJ

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will play an essential role in managing and organizing our inventory. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that help keep our warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties.
• Stock shelves, sort packages, and organize items.
• Scan, label, mark, and manage inventory using RF scanners.
• Operate manual pallet jacks and handle materials efficiently.
• Pick and pack orders with accuracy and attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• Experience with general labor and warehouse tasks.
• Familiarity with shipping, stocking, and packing procedures.
• Ability to use RF scanners and manual pallet jacks.
• Basic understanding of inventory management.
• Minimum of 0 to 6 months of related experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not necessary.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles and constant movement of forklifts and hand carts. Adherence to safety protocols is paramount. The warehouse is temperature-controlled, with heating in the winter and fans in the summer. Dress in light, breathable layers and wear acceptable footwear such as sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes. Open-toe shoes, sandals, flats, and heels are prohibited. Electronics are not permitted in the warehouse.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
