Apply now. We have full time and part time positions available. Public, private charter, and team sports routes are available. Excellent pay and affordable benefits offered (Such as Health and Dental Coverage, Short and long term disability options, life insurance, and a 401K plan with a 4% match from the company). Everyone is eligible for up to $120 bonus per month if you meet the criteria. We offer 18 days paid vacation. Class B commercial drivers license with a passenger and school bus endorsement required or WE WILL TRAIN YOU to get your license for free (with a dedication of a year of service to our company). You must have a satisfactory complete driving record with no more than one current point (Complete and PBJ Driving Records must be provided prior to filling out an application) and a clean criminal background. UPDATE: If you currently hold a CDL License with Air Brakes, passenger and school bus endorsements your starting wage will be $26.75+ per hour.
Company DescriptionLonergan’s Charter Service has been family owned and run since 1959. The company was started by John J. Lonergan Sr. and in 2005 John retired and his son Greg Lonergan took over as President of the Company after working for the company since 1996.
John’s Grandson Mike Lonergan Jr., also Greg’s nephew, started with the company in 2006 and is now the Vice President. Dee Lawson is our Operations Manager and doubles as our Shop Administrator and has been with the company since 2009. Marty Orndorff and Crystal Heitzer are our Dispatchers. Marty has been with the company since 2008 and Crystal since 2023. Juli Taylor is our Office and Human Resources Manager and has been the company since 2022. Lonergan’s Charter Service has close to 100 employees that consist of well trained, highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated drivers, bus attendants, office personnel, and mechanics. Safety is of the utmost importance to us. That is why we provide transportation on the most trusted equipment and have a staff of certified and highly trained mechanics, managed by Lead Mechanic Kent Wilson since 2009, to keep the equipment on the road and keep our employees, customers, and students safe. We are truly a family here at Lonergan’s Charter Service. All of our employees are part of that family and when our customers ride Lonergan’s they become part of the family as well.
