Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – School-Based \n\n

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person support at a specialized school in Philadelphia, PA . This position is for maternity leave coverage through June 18 , with potential Extended School Year (ESY) opportunities from July 7 – August 2 .

\n\n Position Details: \n\n

\n\t
• Role: SLP or SLPA (School-Based)\n\t
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM\n\t
• ESY (if extended): Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 2:15 PM\n\t
• Student Population: Students with unique communication needs in a specialized learning environment \n

\n\n Responsibilities: \n\n

\n\t
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services\n\t
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student communication skills\n\t
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs\n\t
• Maintain accurate progress documentation and reports in compliance with school and state regulations\n

\n\n Qualifications: \n\n

\n\t
• SLP: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification , and state licensure\n\t
• SLPA: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, plus state licensure\n\t
• Experience in a school-based or specialized setting preferred\n\t
• Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus\n
