About the Role

The company is on the lookout for a dynamic Chief People Officer to lead our mission-driven organization. In this pivotal role, you will craft and implement a high-impact people strategy, overseeing a talented team of HR professionals to enhance our employee experience. We need a strategic leader with a strong foundation in organizational design, workforce planning, HR technology, and leadership development.

As the Chief People Officer, you'll partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer and fellow leaders to ensure we attract, retain, and nurture exceptional talent aligned with our strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include translating our organizational strategy into actionable people operations plans, creating effective systems, advancing internal policies, and being the primary strategist for HR technology and analytics. The ideal candidate will possess 10-15+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in complex, mission-driven environments.

A people-first mindset, hands-on experience with workforce planning, and a proven track record in coaching senior leaders are essential for success. In addition, you will spearhead initiatives to boost employee engagement, retention, and strengthen diversity, belonging, inclusion, and equity across our organization.

Within your first year, you will be expected to deliver on critical objectives, including developing a new compensation framework, reimagining performance management, and establishing a comprehensive leadership development strategy.
